After years of development hell and constant production delays, Mahershala Ali is officially moving on from Marvel Studios' Blade reboot.
The Oscar-winning actor confirmed he has closed the chapter on the long-troubled MCU film, candidly noting that if the studio had truly intended to bring the project to life, it would have happened by now.
First announced to massive hype back in 2019, the reboot endured endless creative setbacks, script rewrites, and director departures before ultimately falling apart.
While fans won't get to see Ali take up the iconic mantle of the Daywalker, the actor shared that he is ready to turn the page and focus on exciting new projects—finally concluding one of the longest, most frustrating development sagas in MCU history.
