As Black Clover heads toward its grand conclusion, creator Yūki Tabata addressed major fan misconceptions about Yuno in the official Final Guide-Book:
"Many people are completely mistaken about Yuno. Just like Asta, with whom he grew up, Yuno harbored the dream of becoming Magic Emperor.
